Common Questions

Frequently asked questions

Verification, booking, trust, and onboarding — plain answers for households and providers.

How do you verify service providers on Vishwakarm?

Every service provider on our platform undergoes a thorough verification process. This includes verifying government-issued identity documents, confirming their residential address within their declared service area, conducting coordinator-led skill assessments, and requiring at least one personal referral from a trusted community member. We do not list unverified or anonymous providers.

How can we trust the providers listed here compared to other aggregators?

Unlike commercial aggregators like JustDial or Urban Company, Vishwakarm is built purely on community trust. Providers are referred and personally vouched for by active community members. We do not use anonymous reviews or paid placement algorithms; trust is built on real-world local relationships and accountability.

How do I book a service through Vishwakarm?

Booking is direct and fee-free. Browse the verified directory, sign in, and message or call a provider in your locality. There are no middlemen, no platform booking fees, and no hidden markups. You negotiate and pay the provider directly.

How can I list myself or recommend a provider on Vishwakarm?

To list your services, go to /onboarding and submit your details. A community coordinator will reach out to verify your identity, address, and skills. You must be referred by an existing community member to join the network.

Is Vishwakarm affiliated with PM Vishwakarma or any government scheme?

No. Vishwakarm is an independent community platform and is not affiliated with PM Vishwakarma or any government scheme. We are a privately operated, community-referred services network.
